Kaizer Chiefs FC faced Stellenbosch FC yesterday in Athlone stadium, where by Amakhosi won by two goals to zero. Most of Chiefs fans are happy that Chiefs won but they seam not to be happy with the overall performance.
Former Kaizer Chiefs FC winger and current Idiski TV analyst Junior Khanye, congratulated Amakhosi for winning even though he questioned the whole Chiefs as a team. Khanye said there are lot of things that need to be improved at Kaizer Chiefs FC. He even believe some players are on form. Khanye mentioned players who are currently not playing well.
He said in as much as former Golden Arrows FC and current Chiefs winger Pule Mmodi scored a beautiful goal yesterday, he did not perform well. According to Junior Khanye, Pule Mmodi, Tebogo Potsane, Yusuf Mart, Edson Castillo, Mdudusi Mdantshane and Ashely Du Preez did not play well.
In other news, some of Kaizer Chiefs FC fans, are not understating why Mart is playing ahead of Nkosingphile Ngcobo on the number 8 position. They believe Ngcobo can do better than Mart. SS Football News talked with awards winning analyst Makaota Masiu, regarding the issue of Amakhosi fans(Mart and Ngcobo’s issue).

“Nkosingphile Ngcobo? This boy has got the potential to become one of the best no8 or 10 SA has ever produced but we don’t have progressive coaches in SA most of the coaches are defensive minded.
“I went back to watch Nkosingphile Ngcobo under Gavin Hunt and realized what was the secrete behind his performance. It was very simple Baccus as an 8 was complementing him he was supporting his positive football he was playing football with him. Nkosingphile Ngcobo is more like Marcelo Allende of Mamelodi Sundowns similar profiles if you check them both can play as 8 or 10.
“Their weapon is their ability to connect and form triangles in all areas of the pitch they also support all build up and combinations in all areas of the pitch.
“* If you watch Mamelodi Sundowns when they play Allende as an 8 they have Teboho Mokoena who supports his positive football in that six role and if you check everything in Sundowns is started by Allende.
“* So ome might say what went wrong with Nkosingphile Ngcobo at Chiefs the answer is simple.
~ When Kaizer Chiefs play Nkosingphile Ngcobo as a no.10 behind him is usually Yusuf Maart as an 8 who doesn’t know how to coordinate passing patterns tell me guys have you seen Maart in a triangles combining passes in his career?
~ Mshini ends up not being complemented and people say he is not good enough.
~ Kaizer Chiefs have not tried using Nkosingphile Ngcobo at no.8 i think the last time Nkosingphile Ngcobo played as an 8 it was a sub in both instances if i remember vividly it was against Mamelodi Sundowns last season when we lost 4-0 when he came to play as an he did well and we managed to get some control on the game.
“* The second game was against Cape Town City last year when we lost 2-0 he came as a sub with Matlou playing as a 6 him as an 8 we also regained some control and looked to play football.
“Mamelodi Sundowns had to pay R51 milliom for Allende thina we have a diamond for free which we can’t even utilize. If you want to see how great Nkosingphile Ngcobo is release him and see how quick Mamelodi Sundowns will move to get his signature actually i won’t be surprised if they go for him next season.” – he said.
