One of the young blood Kaizer Chiefs FC most loved player Nkosingphile Ngcobo has revealed a very interesting news about the newly appointed interim head coach, Cavin Johnson.
Kaizer Chiefs’ attacking midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo says Cavin Johnson is getting the best out of him and his teammates by allowing them to play freely and enjoy their games.
Johnson was appointed as care-taker coach of the Amakhosi first team in October last year and has been in charge of seven league matches.
He has bagged 13 points from a possible 21 – 10 in their last four matches, a run that has seen them move to sixth position on the DStv Premiership log with 24 points.
Mshini, as Ngcobo is affectionately known, told iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu in the latest edition of the newspaper that the coach preaches freedom to his players.
“Coach Cavin just wants everyone to be free and enjoy playing for Kaizer Chiefs and to do your best and everything will go well,” Mshini told iDiski Times when asked how Johnson has revived his form.
“Like I said [he tells me] to be free. It’s the same thing: ‘just do what you can do and show that you’re talented’. That’s what he wants from us.”
Our analyser Senzo Sambo has also analysed Nkosingphile Ngcobo, he is what he said below;
Nkosingphile Ngcobo Vs George Matlou for the Number 10 position.
Let me start by saying two brilliant players both talented but different qualities both give you something offensively and positive contribution but the dimension is not the same.
Let me indulge on both the players qualities. Who is likely to start matches i have watched George Matlou’s first 45 minutes vs Maritzburg United whereby almost everyone was raving about him raving about the quality of football he displayed on the day Matlou gives you arrogance on the field of play he also gives you that attacking potency his ability to spot runners and make a decisive pass also his physic also ability to go and look for the ball very good defensively against Maritzburg United he made more than 5 tackles in the first Half he is definitely a contender for the no 10 role though i feel like he should be playing as central midfielder to allow Nkosingphile Ngcobo to own that position this is based on the fact that Matlou has played in Portugal and he was a Defensive Midfielder and he played for Moroka Swallows FC as a Central Midfielder he was not deployed as a no.10 though if called upon as a 10 he gives you something.
Let me go in onNkosingphile Ngcobo a player i feel is the most disrespected player in the PSL go anywhere in all the other teams you will never find a creative visionary player like him he brings you something offensively his aim is too always go forward his technique is definitely classy it seperates him from the rest of his teammates his passing game is unmatched in South Africa and I’m not even capping no one can match his passing the ability to play it long short and split the defense with a pass the ability to switch off the ball but still create a goalscoring chance.
Nkosingphile Ngcobo operates more of a conductor he tries to make the team play by all means he wants quick one two’s to break the opposition players his short passing and composure is something not adding that he is prolific outside the box.
Why is he not playing talented players like him it’s unfair to judge them by workrate they may not be giving you something defensively but they are different giving you balance in Midfield
