Kaizer Chiefs chairman Dr Motaung has revealed when the new coach of the club will be announced.
Amakhosi are still looking for a new coach after the departure of Ntseki Molefe who was appointed at the beginning of the season.
Kaizer Chiefs founder Dr Motaung has revealed that new coach would be in charge of the club going into pre-season. So Cavin Johnson is currently the interim coach and will likely remain so until the end of the current season.
“This has always been our aim unfortunately along the way you get derailed by unruly people who don’t understand and become very emotional. And that is the challenge that we are facing right now but at the end of the day, I’m sure we will get it right,” said Motaung.
The next coach will be chosen at the end of the current campaign, according to Kaizer Motaung, to give him enough time to become familiar with the team. The Chairman also said every coach that come to the team need to be given enough time. He mentioned that Arthur Zwane and Ntseki Molefe should be given enough time.
“Yes and no, but at the same time I think yes because any coach who comes in need to be given time. You cannot bring a coach and expect results immediately and think you’ll win the league in the next season. So it might happen but what we need is to exercise patience because things like this are not build overnight”.
