There is a latest update regarding Kaizer Chiefs FC management forming a ladies team as per CAF need from any football club.
Some of the challenges faced by Kaizer Chiefs as they look to establish a women’s team(Inability to give exposure to sponsors).
“There just needs to be a structural change in that we need to be able to allow clubs and I know [Mamelodi] Sundowns have also asked and really pushed to have their own sponsors, we need boards to be able to let our sponsors advertise,” Jessica Motaung told SABC Sport.
“These are challenges, it’s not just, you have a team and that’s it. You need the money to fund it and, to do that, sponsors need the exposure.
“So we are in discussions with Safa to say, if we have a women’s team, how can we all work together to restructure this so that it’s a win-win for the teams, the sponsors that come in, and for the main sponsor that Safa has as well.”
In other news, Chippa United’s Stanley Nwabali warned against returning to South Africa.
“The feelers I’m getting from South Africa regarding Nwabali is not encouraging and I want to advise that he should not go back to Chippa United after the AFCON,” Chris Uchegbulam, a former Vice President of CAF Appeal Committee told the Nation Online.
“Some would say it was just football but the signals I’m getting from South Africa about Nwabali are not so positive.
“If possible, he can forget going back to Chippa United and train with any of our top clubs either Enyimba United or Rivers United before he can find a new club.
“That’s my honest advice and I hope he takes it,” Uchegbulam added.
Apart from that, one of the best Kaizer Chiefs FC attacking midfielders, Nkosingphile Ngcobo, has revealed an interesting information.
Ngcobo has revealed how he deals with Kaizer Chiefs FC pressure that comes from fans especially. We all know that sometimes when a player is not doing well, he or she will be criticised by fans. So, Ngcobo says he just stay away from the social media, because that can kill a person as a player. He also says by doing that, he doesn’t feel any pressure.
Telling local newspaper, IdisKi times, here is what he said;
“Just stay away from social media and even if you are there, just avoid being deep because it can really kill you. But I’m not in that deep, so I don’t feel the pressure.” Nkosingphile Ngcobo added.
