The highest paid player in PSL, former Mamelodi Sundowns star Keagan Dolly, could be the subject of a decision from Kaizer Chiefs.
The way that Keegan Dolly is currently being paid by the club for no service at all has angered Amakhosi supporters.
Having left the French Lig 1 club in 2021, the 30-year-old midfielder joined Kaizer Chiefs.
He was regarded as South Africa’s most underappreciated player before he joined the Glamour boys. In June 2017, his market value peaked at €1,50 million. In 2017, Montpellier FC acquired him from Mamelodi Sundowns for a sum of €1.7 million.
One of the highest paid players in the Kaizer Chiefs and PSL overall is Keegan Dolly. But because of back-to-back injuries, he has been on and off the field.
The Glamour boys star reportedly makes close to R1.5 million a month, according to multiple publications.
“He must not come back and should follow Khama Billiat,” says a frustrated supporter
This season, he has only made five appearances in the DStv Premier League. In their most recent match, the Soweto derby against Orlando Pirates ended in a 1-0 loss. This season, he has also failed to find the back of the net.
